PURE makes electronic music since 1992. Working in the darker and heavier domains of the sonic universe he creates hypnotic, soundtrack-like sound pieces that trigger associations of dreams and science fiction novels using a mix of electroacoustic composition, sound synthesis, and live electronics.

His latest album "Ification" was released at the end of 2008 on portuguese label Crónica. Read the long Version.

“Ification” presents a collection of seven highly diverse tracks that revolve around dense, filmic and eerie atmospheres, without ever drifting into obvious or simple harmonies. As in his previous work, Pure takes from music history whatever serves his narrative needs and appropriates it through his very own sound-mangling strategies. Complementing this approach, here, and for the first time in his work, there is a very tight integration of various instrumentalists, whose recordings — produced for this CD — are often the compositional base of the tracks.

Bad Dreams Caused By A Late Night Dinner for SOUNDMUSEUM.FM

HEART CHAMBER ORCHESTRA - Documentation now online

I was in Trondheim/Norway until oct. 17th 2006 to finish HEART CHAMBER ORCHESTRA a collaboration between Erich Berger and me (aka TERMINALBEACH) and the Trondheim Sinfonetta.
The Heart Chamber Orchestra - HCO - is an audiovisual performance. The orchestra consists of 12 classical musicians and the artist duo TERMINALBEACH. Using their heartbeats, the musicians control a computer composition and visualization environment. The musical score is generated in real time by the heartbeats of the musicians. They read and play this score from a computer screen placed in front of them.
it´s produced by TEKS for the festival TRONDHEIM MATCHMAKING that happened from october 12th - 15th.
Premiere night was sunday october 15th and the concert went very well. We have now photos, screenshots, and movies online for documentation.
